These are tools that knowledge workers can use to examine, understand and intervene in the situations they encounter in the workplace. Chapter 1 presents one-page versions of all 12 tools. Each of these one-page versions presents the visual tool and some brief accompanying text.
Subsequent chapters examine each of the 12 tools in more detail, including explanations of how to use the tool and examples where it has been used. In some cases, checklists and diagnostic questions are included. These are real examples, not fictional accounts. I have used them all to good effect and on more than one occasion.
